Ease of Use
The more data you gather, the better results you get. That’s why we have designed our technology so that it is affordable and easy to use every single day.
Our small and lightweight sensors use the latest technology. They charge and transfer data wirelessly, which makes them easy to use at the stable. The sensors are also completely waterproof and can be used in all weather conditions. Simply place a sensor in each of the bands included in the box, then put them on your horse’s legs. That’s all there is to it.
With the free Horseteq app you can monitor your horse’s every step on your mobile device – even in real time.
The app’s training diary records every single session, allowing you to study your horse’s progress whenever you want. It also saves the rider’s/driver’s name, the horse’s heart rate (if a heart rate belt is used) and even the type of shoe the horse was wearing, if desired. Tracking location and prevailing weather conditions are recorded automatically, and can afterwards be viewed in a handy map.
The profiles of several horses can be added to your account, allowing you to compare their results and gather valuable information about the movement of many different horses with a single Horseteq kit.
A Unique Combination of Parameters
Our sensors and software provide accurate and detailed information about the following features of your horse’s gait:
- Step length
- Step rate
- Strike impact
- Swing time
- Stance time
- Heart rate
Horseteq’s software automatically stores every tracking session to the cloud, so you never have to worry about manually uploading your tracking data. Our software works on most Android and iOS devices. Just log in to your account on any compatible device and you’re ready to go!
Getting regular data on your horse’s movement can really help improve its wellness. These days horses are trained very intensively, which can lead to various physical problems. These injuries are often detected too late, resulting in veterinary clinic visits that could have been avoided. Horseteq helps to detect early signs of lameness or back problems, allowing you to adjust your horse’s training if necessary or give it more time to rest and recover.
Not all injuries can be avoided, however, and sometimes only a veterinarian can help. Until now there has been no way to accurately track a horse’s rehabilitation, but Horseteq now makes it possible to easily monitor the recovery process daily. The tracking information can also be shared with the veterinarian thus reducing the need to travel far from the home stable.
Preventing injuries is not only good news for your horse, it also saves you a lot of money.
When a sports horse is under heavy training, monitoring its movement can help make sure it is making progress according to the set training programme. Also, possible abnormalities in its performance can be detected early and its training can be adjusted accordingly, for example with easier exercise or rest.
On the other hand, if the horse is making good progress, its training can resume according to plan or it can even be made more intensive in order for the horse to reach its set goals quicker. Horseteq makes this kind of monitoring an easy part of your everyday training routine at the home stable.
